Open in Safari on your iPhone. Download the file, open it from Safari Downloads or Files, then follow the prompts to add it in Shortcuts.
What happens
Their wallpaper gets replaced with a horizontally flipped copy of itself. Everything is where it should be, except mirrored. Most people take days to work out what’s off.
Setup
- Open this page in Safari on the iPhone, download the file (or AirDrop it), open it from Safari Downloads or Files, and tap Add Shortcut.
- Run it while unlocked and pick the photo they use as their wallpaper. Allow Photos access if asked. In Set Wallpaper, select the photo wallpaper target if iOS requires one. Check that the wallpaper changes before deleting the shortcut.
Undo
Set the original photo back from Settings → Wallpaper. It’s untouched in their library.
