Open in Safari on your iPhone. Download the file, open it from Safari Downloads or Files, then follow the prompts to add it in Shortcuts.
What happens
Run once on their phone, it adds a reminder for exactly one month from now: You know what you did. By then they’ll have forgotten you ever touched their phone.
Setup
- Open this page in Safari on the iPhone, download the file (or AirDrop it), open it from Safari Downloads or Files, and tap Add Shortcut.
- In the … editor, set Add New Reminder to an existing reminder list if no list is selected. Run once while unlocked and allow Reminders access.
- Open Reminders and confirm You know what you did. has a date and time one month ahead. Check Reminders notification settings. Each run adds another reminder; delete the shortcut after confirming it.
Undo
Delete the reminder in the Reminders app. That’s the only thing it created.
